HCHS Cemetery Walk

October 4-5, 2024

After a 17-year hiatus, the Howard County Historical Society is excited to resurrect the Cemetery Walk, an opportunity for local history enthusiasts to explore and learn about notable figures in Crown Point Cemetery.

Join us on October 4th and 5th to meet local historic figures such as Mark McTigue, Elmer Apperson, Wilber and Leone Grace Defenbaugh, and more.

Shows will run Friday, October 4th from 6:00-7:00pm and October 5th from 2:00-2:30pm and 3:00-3:30pm.

Shows will be every 15 minutes. Due to time constraints, late arrivals will not have a guaranteed spot. Tickets are non-refundable.

Parking will be available in designated areas along Sycamore Street and surrounding areas.

***Please be aware that the terrain in Crown Point Cemetery can be uneven, which might affect mobility. HCHS will do our best to accomodate anyone with mobility issues.
